At a special meeting tonight, the Gainesville City Commission is slated to vote on tentative property-tax and utility rates while setting the fire service assessment.
The millage rate (0.42544 percent of a property’s value) and fire assessment are not expected to change from last year, while utility raises are expected to rise overall.
