Shop For Your Holiday Dinner At Downtown Farmers Market Today 4 -7 pm
Featured this week: Last weekend's freeze and frost finished many of the warm weather crops like squash, eggplant and beans. Final picking of them will probably be at the market this week. All the cooler weather crops like kale, collards and lettuces are now coming in abundantly. There are still some tomatoes and peppers to be found as well as cut flowers, persimmons and chestnuts. Jams and jellies are also being offered and tupelo honey, fine baked goods and fudge are some of the many thing you will find. Along with all this there is whole milk, grass fed meats, yogurt, and seafood each week. Remember, we are open year round - rain or shine-hot or cold.
