From the Union Street Farmers Market..."Featured this week, Dec. 14, 2011. Take advantage of the warm beautiful weather this week and visit the market. Also remember to think of the market as the place for those special gifts for the coming holidays. The above average temperatures for this time of year have greens, kale, salad mix, pecans and citrus coming in abundantly. There are still tomatoes and peppers to be found as well as cut flowers, pasta and chestnuts. Jams and jellies are also being offered and tupelo honey, fine baked goods and chocolates are some of the many thing you will find. Along with all this there is whole milk, grass fed meats, yogurt, and seafood each week. Remember, we are open year round - rain or shine-hot or cold." Click here for the Product Availability page. |
We are the Power District! Sense of community, pride and quality of life are NOT negotiable.
