"The week of early voting in the runoff for the Gainesville City Commission At-large 1 seat begins Monday — eight days before the Feb. 28 election.
All city voters are eligible to cast a ballot, with early voting being held at the County Administration Building, 12 SE First St.
Early voting will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Feb. 26.
The runoff pits Lauren Poe, a former District 2 city commissioner, and Nathan Skop, a former member of the Florida Public Service Commission, which regulates utilities in the state.
While the city races are nonpartisan, parties have been endorsing and supporting candidates."
