Context Sensitive Solutions Program Re-Thinks Streets As Great Places

"Due to their ubiquity, streets usually make up the majority of a city or town's public space; unfortunately, we tend to think of streets as routes for passing through, rather than as places that are destinations in their own right. The idea of thinking of Streets as Places is critical to our work, and as such, we're thrilled to be part of the Federal Highway Administration's Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS) program, which aims to create transportation projects that are more responsive to community needs."
